Drz400 Idles But Wont Rev. can you help with this drz 400 problem? just took the bike off the tender and fired it up again. the idle stop is adjusted so that it idles at about 1600 rpm, any lower and it doesn't want to stay running. Starting cold, fully choked, it starts up. So just put in a new spark plug exact same one as last time, have t changes fuel ratio at all,. a pilot circuit issue usually means it won't idle, but yours won't rev. after replacing the gasket and cleaning the carb repeatedly, bike still won't idle. Racing idle while choke is on (2000 rpm +) which drops to normal a. this is my 1995 kawasaki 250kx. i could not crank it to make it throttle or rev up to get me home.
